Damn you cliché, diamonds are a girl’s bets friend…when paired with your groom. : )

Hello to all my brides-to-be! This post is the first of many, I am certain, pertaining to the wide world of wedding planning. My goal is to make my engagement as angst-free as possible, streamlining all things wedding-related, so as to not drive my groom to be out of his mind! We are planning an August 2009 wedding for 150 guests on a tight 25k budget. My goal is to have a fabulous affair with wonderful food and drink, content guests, and a lot of love and laughs to add to the evening! Our main theme is this modern elegance with a pop of color. I love all things black and white – it feels very classic, perhaps Parisian? I also love the idea of black and white accented with pink flowers and some green pops here and there.
